A Once-in-a-Decade Event
The Our Farms, Our Future Conference, hosted by the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program and the National Center for Appropriate Technology ATTRA program will be held on April 3-5, 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri.
This national event will bring together our diverse agricultural community including farmers and ranchers, agribusiness stakeholders, students, researchers, scientists, agency representatives and nonprofit leaders. Every decade SARE hosts a conference to look at the progress of sustainability in agriculture and to understand our trajectory for the future.
Please join us for a stimulating set of sessions on the future of sustainable agriculture in the United States.

The conference will be hosted at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown St. Louis next to the Gateway Arch.
This location was chosen for its proximity to hundreds of acres of park space, several engaging museums, the St. Louis arch and miles of biking and walking trails. The Hyatt also strives to incorporate local, sustainable foods in their hotel menus, and its staff keeps beehives and grows assorted herbs on the rooftop.
In addition to recreational opportunities and a commitment to local foods, the Hyatt offers a convenient location in downtown St. Louis. The building has a Starbucks on the ground floor and a FedEx/Kinkos for any printing needs you may have during your stay. There are a few dining options in the hotel itself as well as some restaurants within walking distance.
For those of you seeking to maintain your healthy habits while at the conference, the hotel has a fully functioning gym. And access to the Arch park and walking trails should provide you plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs.
